Monthly Meetings | Next Meeting The life cycle of stars Tuesday 12th May at 07:30 pm At Moe Library Meeting Rooms, George St Moe, opposite Moore St. |
LVAS Monthly Meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of the month, February to November, at 7:30 pm at the Moe Library meeting rooms, George St, Moe. They usually begin with a short business section, followed by the evening's main topic. This may be a presentation, a discussion of techniques, or a work shop. There may be some observing at the end, but usually our main observing focus is on the various observing nights. (However, sometimes the meeting falls on such a nice night that we can't stop ourselves, and get the telescopes out anyway!)
Main topics for the evenings vary - some are more atuned to items of interest and techniques for more experienced observers, some are deliberately designed, (and advertised) for the general public. Visitors are welcome at any of the meetings advertised on the calendar.
